A Drumforge Classic preset created by a metal mix engineer in the mix—a Drumforge preset designed to cut through high gain guitars and survive heavy limiting in mastering.
This is the free version of the preset and it doesn’t have the parallel compression bus built in. To get the exact same preset I use, check out the Ultimate version
Requires Drumforge sampler 2.0.7 or higher.

I designed this preset as I was mixing and mastering the song for my Drumforge review YouTube video, taking advantage of all the processing capabilities within Drumforge to create a metal preset that can cut through high gain guitars and heavy limiting in the mastering process.

Although this is the free version of the preset, the only thing this one is different than the kit I used in the video is that this one does not have a parallel compression bus. However, it’s extremely easy to set up a parallel compression bus by yourself inside your DAW so you are not missing much!
